Hi all - For those who are on Facebook, please stop by to show support for one of our volunteers. This individual has severe TED, spent most of the summer organizing a fundraising event in Ohio that raised over $2,000 for the GDATF, and yet was the victim of some ignorant, unkind comments on Facebook because of the way her eyes look.

For those who are interested, our volunteer actually contacted the two ladies who posted the unkind comments to explain about her Thyroid Eye Disease. At least one of the two replied back with a sincere apology and removed the post from her page. A little education goes a long way!
