I'm 37 years old. Diagnosed in February. RAI in late May. Had an allergic reaction to methimazole.

I have just been to my third follow-up after RAI.

During my second follow up, my levels completely dropped and I was prescribed levothyroxin 125.

Felt (feeling) much better.

On my third follow-up (3 weeks ago), my levothyroxin was upped 25, so now I'm on 150.

I have had minor sensitivity to sun and wear sunglasses when I'm outside. I recently (yesterday) became super sensitive to the sun. I felt like I was burning on the outside and cold on the inside. A little sick to my stomach and very tired and achey. My eyes hurt even though I was wearing sunglasses.

I have a message into my endocrine doctor.

Anyone else experience this?

Hello - I'm not familiar with any warnings related to sun exposure for patients on replacement hormone.

However, eye involvement with Graves' disease *can* come with light sensitivity. If you continue to have issues, you might consider visiting an experienced ophthalmologist just to get everything checked out.
